The MA in World Englishes crosses disciplinary boundaries to study English worldwide from both a linguistic and literary perspective. The linguistic courses in the programme focus on the varying forms of English around the world as well as topics related to language and globalization. Literature modules may include courses on postcolonial writing as well as the notions of “borders” and “border crossing” in literary works worldwide. This programme is taught over four semesters.
