Kosmologi är studiet om universums utveckling och storskaliga struktur. Kursen behandlar det tidiga universum, inflationsmodellen, universums expansion och strukturformation. Begrepp som mörk materia och mörk energi studeras, liksom metoder för att mäta kosmologiska parametrar.
