EU Basics in Public Health Nutrition, 7.5 hp

The is a summer course that is aimed for you who are interested in understanding and taking part of public health nutrition within the European Union. The course brings up the structure of the EU, the bodies dealing with public health issues and development of public health policies. You will also learn how to apply for EU funding for public health projects. During the course a workshop of seven days is held at a university in one of the EU Member States, this year in XXXX. The rest of the course is run by distance. The course can be taken as elective course in the master programme in nutrition.

Special eligibility requirements: Specific eligibility requirements 120 higher education credits in healthcare, nutrition, physical education and sports, medicine or natural sciences. Proficiency in the English language documented by an internationally recognized test such as TOEFL with a total score of at least 79 (internet based), 550 (paper based), 213 (computer based), IELTS with a total score of at least 6,0 (no band less than 5,0), or other documentation that certifies English language skills equivalent to English B at Swedish upper secondary school.
