This course prepares the student for practical public health work in for example a municipality, county council, or in other health promotion organisations. The course is focused on planning, implementing and evaluating health promotion programmes in nutrition and physical activity. Theories of health education, health promotion work, social marketing are also addressed. Relevant policy documents in the area will also be discussed.
