An independent project is part of the Master’s Programme in Nutrition for the purpose of increasing the student’s competence to work scientifically within the field of nutrition. The course consists of a limited research project, where the student under supervision is responsible for carrying out a project from planning and execution to putting together and presenting the results. The course gives a good basis for all types of activities that involve scientific work and that require a capacity to carry out a project.

| Special eligibility requirements: | To be qualified for applying to this course you must have completed a bachelor degree within the area of medicine or natural science, and either of the courses Molecular nutrition II, AN, 30hp (NU8002) and Public health nutrition II, AN, 30 hp (NU8001), or the equivalent courses. In addition, Swedish upper secondary school course English B or equivalent or one of the following tests. Cambridge CPE och CAE: Pass. IELTS : 6.0 (with no part of the test below 5.0). TOEFL (paper based): 550 (with minimum grade 4 on the written test part). TOEFL (computer based): 213. TOEFL (internet based): 79. |
