Education in Multicultural Society, 15 hp (15 ECTS)

This course introduces students to the study of cultural diversity in society and the impact this has upon our understandings of education. Largely drawing on educational literature influenced by sociological, anthropological, philosophical, and political perspectives, this course provides students with an interdisciplinary approach to discussions on the place and role of education in pluralistic societies.
