The course investigates geochemical cycles on a global scale (atmosphere, hydrosphere, lithosphere and the Earth’s interior), the temporal evolution of Earth’s chemistry and how global geochemical cycles interact and regulate the composition of the atmosphere and oceans. The course also highlights the human impact on global geochemical cycles.
