The aim of the course is to give profound knowledge in analysing the three-dimensional landscape, as well as the landscape painting, as historical and contemporary phenomena. Through themes like construction, memory, representation and identity we will investigate how changing national, political and artistic attitudes have influenced the shaping, understanding and interpretation of different types of landscapes.
