The course deals with the much varied authorship and artistry of Tove Jansson, with focus on her Moomin-books, her novels and short-stories. Tove Janssons aesthetics and her ideas concerning the relationship between text and picture will also be discussed, as well as her artistic endeavours in the field of visual arts.
