Description
This course aims at increasing your knowledge of the function of the different organ systems in the human body. A good understanding of these aspects constitutes the basis for further studies in nutrition. During the course emphasis will be on molecular and cellular mechanisms, individual tissue function, communication between tissues, the physiology of different organ systems and how body equilibrium is maintained during various conditions. Also energy turnover at rest and during various situations will be addressed.
