This course is given in Swedish only.

The topic of this course is the structure and evolution of stars - their birth from the interstellar medium, life on the main sequence and their spectacular late stages. We study the physical principles that determine the brightness and life span of a star. We will also look at different stages of stellar evolution and what remains after a star dies.
