Microbiology

With this course, you will be able to both expand and focus your knowledge in general microbiology.

The focus will be on bacteria, on how they may cause infections and their significance in the environment, both on land and in water. We will also discuss adaptations of microbes, their interactions with the environment and biotechnical applications. At the end of the course, you will write an essay about a microbiological topic of your own choice.
