Evidence and Knowledge in Social Work

Increasingly manifest in social work are the pronounced demands for basing work on evidence or established knowledge.

This demand for interventions that are evidence-based or that in some way implement research results in social work practice comes both from within the profession itself and from actors on the outside. The central theme of the course is to discuss evidence issues and their implications for social work, where an important element is to investigate the knowledge base for different social work measures in the field.
