This course will focus on the impact of new technologies in education: - Communication Technologies and Learning. How is learning and teaching affected when the communication channels are altered? - Globalisation and Education. The Internet transcends borders and education can now be provided by distance education universities with a global market. - Digital Divide ? or Increasing Equality? The promises and fears of new technology in education will be discussed.
