Evaluation of Education, 15 hp

The main objective of this course is to provide an overview of different theories and methods for evaluation of education. The course will focus on paradigms of evaluation of education, evaluation designs, methods and instruments. Both quantitative and qualitative evaluation methods will be studied and concrete examples of evaluation works will be presented. The following themes are included: a historical overview; theories of evaluation; type of evaluation; planning and execution of evaluation.
