The Master Programme in Law and Information Technology offers law graduates the possibility of developing their proficiency in the combined fields of law and information technology.

The courses included in the Programme consist of seminars, classes, practical assignments, and study visits to law firms, companies and authorities specialised in the use of Information Communication Technology (ICT) and law. Students are also required to complete two essays on a topic of their choice. Some activities take place in the computer laboratories of the Law Faculty.

The aim of the courses included in the Programme is to enable the students to develop the skills necessary for their future work as legal practitioners or researchers in the chosen field. This is achieved by teaching the students various ways in which to identify problems and generate solutions. Issues of practical character are thus interwoven with a scholastic approach to legal problems and with practical exercises, using various legal IT tools. This approach requires active participation on the part of the students, for example, by way of completing various IT-related tasks and submitting papers.

All applicants must complete their application with the following: 1) Statement of Purpose; 2) CV; 3) Letters of recommendation.
