This course prepares students for academic studies in Swedish. A passing grade from this course qualifies students for studies at universities and colleges in Sweden. Students practice their communicative skills, both orally and in writing. They practice by reading and writing a variety of texts, and write a seminar paper. One part of the course concentrates on Swedish society, and is equivalent to Civics A at Komvux (adult education). The course cannot be included in a degree from Stockholm University.
