This course is intended for students training to become or already working as teachers in Swedish or Swedish as a second language. The course provides basic knowledge of the Swedish language structure from a contrastive perspective and of second language development. In addition, the course introduces students to the multilingual situation in Swedish society. The course is intended for students who already have a good command of the Swedish language.
Area of interests: Language and Linguistics
Languages open doors to other cultures, experiences, business contacts and collaboration between countries. At Stockholm University you can study nearly 30 different languages.
