The aim of this course is to give students practice in scientific linguistic work and relevant linguistic theories and methods. Students write a scientific paper and defend it during a seminar, and also oppose a fellow student’s paper. A pass grade in this course, combined with the successful completion of 100 points in the Swedish Language Consultancy Programme, can be counted as a major in Swedish in a bachelor’s degree.
