The course aims at providing theoretical and practical knowledge of second language acquisition:, with particular emphasis on Romance languages. The first half of the course consists of common courses for all four Romance languages and studies of different language learning theories that reflect the department’s research specialties. The second half of the course is language-specific and devoted to the study of second language research in the chosen Romance language. The course ends with a written assignment, highlighting language learning phenomenon in several Romance languages.
