Master Programme in Systems Development, 120 ECTS

This master gives the foundation needed to manage the development of large and complex IT systems. You will get knowledge and abilities in modern systems development methods, in particular agile, component based and service oriented methods. You will study the design of large software systems and model driven architectures for complex and distributed systems. In particular, you will get knowledge on the development of modern and global information systems. You will not only get knowledge in technology but also abilities in communication, team work, project management and customer relationship management.

This education will prepare you for roles like IT architect, enterprise architect, project leader, consultant, systems developer, programmer and much more.

During one and a half year, you study courses within systems development and design. These include a project course where you apply your knowledge in a large project in cooperation with industry. You also take courses in scientific communication and research methodology. Finally you write a master thesis. The teachers you meet have a strong background in academic research as well as industrial experience.
