Description
The course deepens and extends crossdisciplinary knowledge in bi- and multilingualism research, engaging further with established and new critical theoretical perspectives, including feminist, intersectional, critical race, queer, indigenous, and postqualitative, posthumanist, new materialist, and southern theory. It further develops students’ research skills in evaluating and critiquing research and in carrying out small sociolinguistic research projects.
