The Bachelor’s programme in Global Management combines a broad education in business administration with language studies, providing you with global opportunities. You will study the four subject areas in business administration: marketing, accounting, finance and management. In addition, you will study courses which are directly connected to the global economy, with focus on culture, politics, economic history and ethics. All courses in business administration are taught in English and the programme welcomes both Swedish and international students. You will study a language, as well as the culture in the country, or countries, where the language is spoken. The basic areas of business administration are covered in the first two semesters, where the second semester is specifically concerned with questions about politics, economy and culture in a global world. You will study your chosen language during the third and fourth semester. During the fifth semester you can choose courses in business administration at Stockholm University School of Business, or abroad, if there are courses available in your chosen language. You can also choose courses in, or related to, your chosen language, at Stockholm University or abroad. All students write a bachelor’s thesis in business administration during the sixth and final semester and are awarded a Bachelor of Science with Business Administration as the main field of study. Upon completion of the programme you will be well prepared for a career in international organizations in the private, public and not-for-profit sectors.
