Do you want to become a better and more confident speaker who captures the attention of your listeners? This course in practical rhetorics builds on the study of classical rhetorics and modern communications research and gives students the opportunity to practice both theoretical and practical exercises. The course looks at both language and performance in different situations. Participants prepare and present speeches, and also respond and give constructive criticism to others.
