Description
This course gives students a deeper understanding about the relationship between linguistic expression and linguistic content, particularly at word level. Students also gain further knowledge about changes to the language over time, as well as psycholinguistic aspects of language proficiency and language development. Students write a shorter scientific paper in the course.
Area of interests: Language and Linguistics
Languages open doors to other cultures, experiences, business contacts and collaboration between countries. At Stockholm University you can study nearly 30 different languages. Language and Linguistics studies can lead to a large variety of professions within teaching, research and industry, the public sector, trade and tourism, and other areas.
