This course gives students deeper knowledge in the area of language theory and structure. In addition, the course looks at different theories on second-language reading and writing development. Students are also given the opportunity to discuss the importance of culture in relation to differences in language comprehension and communication. In addition, the course provides a theoretical foundation for assessing teaching materials and language testing.
Area of interests: Language and Linguistics
Languages open doors to other cultures, experiences, business contacts and collaboration between countries. At Stockholm University you can study nearly 30 different languages.
